The #4 top moment of the 2016-17 season was the women's lacrosse team winning ten games and making the North Atlantic Conference (NAC) semifinals.
Ten wins was the most in the programs history. Seven of the ten wins for the team were in conference play while they only lost two regular season games in the conference. They had two different winning streaks one of four games and one of six games.
They beat Husson and Colby-Sawyer in overtime which were really big wins for the team. In the first round of the playoffs they cruised to a 15-4 victory over Maine Maritime. Their season ended in the NAC semifinals with an 8-7 loss.
This great season earned the Beavers many individual accomplishments. Carly Raymond, Rhi Jackson, and Erica Letellier were all named to the First Team All-Conference while Samantha Bickford was named to the Second Team All-Conference. Coach Beth Lebel was also named the NAC coach of the year. Jackson scored 50 goals on the season while Raymond earned her 100th point of her career.
