New Hampshire Skiers Commit to UMaine-Farmington
UMaine-Farmington - UMaine Farmington received commitments from two New Hampshire male alpine skiers and Eastern High School Alpine Championship athletes.  Zach Berliner and Alex Mangini join the Men's Alpine Team and Class of 2022 this coming fall.
 
Zach Berliner comes to us from his home mountain of Pats Peak which has put out numerous USCSA standouts and top skiers in the east as well as Hopkinton High School.  Zach is a top 10 SL finisher at the 2018 Eastern High School Championships. Zach also had 2 Top 10 finishes at the 2018 USSA Eastern Finals at Gore Mtn in NY.  Zach has both High School and USSA racing experience that will add to our strong group of men in place on the team.  
 
Alex Mangini comes to us from Sugarloaf Mountain/Carrabassett Valley Academy Alpine which has also put out numerous USCSA, NCAA, and National athletes, as well as Bow High School in NH.  Alex was a 2018 Eastern High School Athlete.  Alex brings with him a passion for not only Alpine but for USASA Skier X.  Alex will bring a high level of passion and energy to the team with an ability to compete in multiple disciplines.
 
UMaine-Farmington is excited to have these two "Live Free or Die" State athletes come on board the Mens Alpine Program.
