Beavers Take Second Place at Black Mt.
Black Mountain, Maine - The alpine women took to the snowy hills of western Maine at Black Mountain today. 
The women finished 2nd as a team with a total time of 5:32.05 on 12.59 seconds behind Bowdoin who leads the division.  This is the women's second time earning second-place honors in 7 days.  The women were led by freshman Brianna Marquis who placed 2nd overall with a combined time of 1:43.30 only .70 behind the day's winner. 
Freshman Jenny Hancock placing 2nd for the team and 10th overall with a time of 1:50.03.  Senior newcomer Sandy Mait rounded out the women's top 3 with a time of 1:56.08 and placing 15th overall.  The top 3 scorers for the women's team were all in the top 15th, the first time this year. Way to go!!!
 
The women look to continue to see their hard work and dedication pay off as they head to Lost Valley tomorrow for SL.
