Farmington, Maine – The Beavers close out the regular season with a 5-2 record in the North Atlantic Conference after a 5-0 victory over Northern Vermont University-Lyndon on Bob Leib Field Tuesday afternoon.
BY THE NUMBERS
- The Beavers outshot the Hornets 28 to one on the day with the Hornets keeper, Victoria McCormack making 10 saves on the day.
- Callie Hammer picked up the victory for the Beavers as UMF took three corner kicks to the Hornets one.
HOW IT HAPPENED
- McKenna Brodeur scored a hat trick on the day with the first goal of the game with an assist to Ashley Gleason followed by her second goal 16 minutes later with Haley Fletcher on the assist.
- Lydia Roy scored a goal at the 15-minute mark with Hadlee Yescott on the assist. Brodeur scored her third goal in the second half followed by Yescott scoring late in the second half.
The Beavers have closed out the regular season and await the results of the NAC to find out the playoff seedings.
